BSc Accounting and Finance Part 2

Let me tell you why I’m best qualified for this position: During my summer internship at Forvis Mazars PLT, I gained valuable experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and the use of accounting software.
 

Beyond my financial duties, I’ve been actively involved in various activities since my Foundation Year. I was part of the 2023 Smart City Conference as one of the speakers and an internal committee chairman, and I served as Student President in high school, which taught me leadership and the importance of representing the student body. These experiences have made me adaptable and flexible, especially in managing the financial aspects of events and activities.

With my financial background, I will not only optimize but also implement efficient systems in the management of SA’s finances to ensure accountability and accurate reporting. My goal is to create a smoother financial process for all clubs and societies. To support this, I plan to host a briefing session with all club and society treasurers to discuss key topics, streamline claims and cashflows, and help everyone better manage their budgets. Together, we can improve the funds claiming process and ensure that budgets are used effectively to benefit the entire student body. Thank you for your support, and I hope to earn your vote!
